Food: Pork/shrimp siu mai, steamed bean curd w/ shrimp, meat, and veggies, and the sticky rice in lotus leaf. We weren't too hungry, but I wanted to try this place. We got a few of our favorite dim sum dishes from their very limited dim sum menu. All were delicious and very flavorful. Service: Staff are super friendly and fast. Other: Came here for the first time. Portions were decent. Probably the best dim sum place that we've eaten at in Texas so far. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again. It's pricer than other dim sum places, but quality is legit. Just wish they had more dim sum options. Their dim sum choices are limited and missing a lot of the classic dishes. Large parking lot.

I definitely think that they deserve more stars than they have currently. I'm originally from Hong Kong, and I do have higher expectations for dim sum. I like that they have a variety of dim sum available and they are ready to be served within a reasonable time. The Sui mai and shrimp dumplings are probably my favourites. It is difficult to find a good dim sum restaurant in Texas since most of them are not authentic. However, the pricing is definitely on the higher side. The service is great and quick. They also have a massive parking lot outside of the restaurant.

Second time here! I still think it's a solid 4. (Probably won't ever be a 5 because I've had the best dim sum in China.) Shrimp dumplings (hargow) still is my favorite. Also really love the steamed spare ribs! Siumai is ok, not the best. Do not get the noodles, they're actually one of the pricier dishes and very chewy.

Stopped in for lunch here on our way back from Austin. It is exactly what you'd expect. Food was fresh and flavorful, some classics had a different flavor but service was fast. Restaurant was clean. No complaints here... except it was a little pricey.

Typical dim sum has so many dishes in small portions so that you're able to try different things. My overall favorite has to be the baked BBQ pork buns (sweet & savory) & the steamed pork dumplings/siu mai. The pork was juicy and they didn't skimp out on the filling! Dim sum can be overwhelming since there are so many options so if you're new & don't know what to try, the classics (steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed pork&shrimp dumplings, baked BBQ buns, Chinese broccoli) are always a fail-safe option. If you want to get into more traditional dishes try the chicken feet & chive dumplings! If you're going on a weekend, do expect to wait especially with bigger parties. The service there made it easy to order, and they had more limited options than traditional dim sum places.

So this is review is based off low expectations. So when this place first opened people had set their expectations super high due to their other international locations so they were disappointed. However, after returning from a trip Vegas and being disappointed by Din Tai Fung and seeing a billboard for Tim Ho Wan, I made it a mission to take my family here and check it out. It's in Katy Asia Town, which is a great addition if you're in this area. Now as far as the dim sum their default items were actually mediocre. However, there were a few dishes that were simply delicious. The baked bbq buns were some of the best I've ever had. It was crispy on the outside with a touch of sweetness and stuffed with savory bbq beef. I could eat a whole order myself! The chow fung stuffed shrimp was also very good. Also the beef ribs and the prawns with vermicelli were top dishes. Also the lotus rice is tasty too. The chicken feet were awful!
